The Norfolk Polish Heritage Group, Polonijna Grupa z Norfolk, is celebrating its first year anniversary by holding a Polish movie night with a difference.
Later today, the Narthex in Earlham Road, Norwich, at 6pm, will show films with English subtitles and the audience will be able to vote for which film is to be shown from a choice of historical to light romantic dramas with each referencing an aspect of Polish life or history.
The group's chairman Adrian O'dell said: 'Our aim is to celebrate the Polish heritage in Norfolk and its fantastic history without becoming inward looking or losing the splendid integration between Poles and English that currently exists, we want everyone to share our heritage in this wonderful county of which we are rightfully proud'.
