A deer had a lucky escape after it got caught in the front grill of a car.
The young animal ran out in front of a car and was hit in Gorleston, getting itself lodged underneath the head lamps and bumper of the vehicle.
Police attended the incident on the night of Saturday, August 5 to help free the deer.
A spokesman for the police said that amazingly it had no apparent injuries and ran off into the night.
