Downham Market will be celebrating Halloween early this year with the Fear in the Fens festival.
The two-day fest will begin on Saturday, September 30 (7pm), with a live performance from Robert Lloyd Parry of Mr James' chilling tales Casting the Runes and The Ash Tree.
The horror continues on Sunday, October 1 (10am), with more classic horror films, live theatre and talks on all things supernatural.
Curator Kit Lewis said: 'Although we like to think of Fear in the Fens as being Norfolk's own horror festival, people from as far away Oxfordshire and Leicester came to watch great films and hear our speakers. It shows that the interest in the format goes right across the country, and that this could become an important part of our off-season economy. This is part of the culture and history of the fens and a something that we should be celebrating more.'
