TV chef and Come Dine With Me winner Polly Guy rubbed shoulders with some of the biggest names in the food industry as she took her Norfolk culinary treats up north.
The 35-year-old has been showing off her culinary skills at the Bolton Food Festival by taking part in demonstrations alongside some of the biggest names in British cooking.
The mother-of-one went to the show over the weekend, displaying her chutneys and adventurous desserts - including a pink pavlova and apple dumpling.
Miss Guy was able to meet celebrity chefs such as Ainsley Harriott, Great British Bake Off 2012 champion John Whaite, Paul Crone and Michael Caines.
She said: 'It was seriously unbelievable. I'm not a Boltonian but everyone was so embracing and the most friendly people I had ever met.
'All the different markets and the producers, from chutneys to marmalades to cakes with everything you could imagine - it was incredible.
'The vast layout of the festival was just unbelievable - I was expecting it to be a market square but the festival was spread over every nook and cranny of Bolton.'
Miss Guy won Channel 4 cookery show Come Dine With Me Champion of Champions in 2016 and had a cookery programme on Mustard TV.
'I think the people of Bolton loved the Norfolk cuisine,' she added.
'The best thing to show is something they can do at home, so I did the apple dumplings with apples from my orchid and spoke about Norfolk a lot.
'I wasn't nervous at all and the information all the cooks were able to share with me was brilliant.
'After my first show, I was able to sit down and have a chat with John Whaite and we have become pals. It becomes a family as you talk to other cooks, so it feels like I have been embraced by this incredible culinary family.
'Ainsley is a true entertainer. He had the door open with his bacon sandwich and invited me in and we had at least a 15 minute chat before he went on stage, giving me advice and talking to me.'
Miss Guy is now looking forward to her next show in Exeter and is creating a new food show.
