The remains of what is thought to be a dog have been found on Gorleston beach.
It was discovered on Thursday at around 8pm by a passer-by.
Scott Fryer, who believes the remains are of a dog, said: 'I was surprised when I noticed the remains in such a busy area of the beach where dog walkers go.
'I am shocked and disgusted that someone could do that to a poor defenceless dog. Who knows if it died of natural causes and then burnt, or killed and burnt there. Either way it's sad.'
