People living in a small coastal village in Norfolk have told of their shock after a pilot and his passenger died in a light aircraft crash.
The pilot in his 50s and a female passenger in her 70s died after reports of a crash landing of what was believed to be a four-seater Piper Arrow on marshland near Wolferton, near King's Lynn.

Emergency services were called just before 11am on Monday, September 11 and the pair were pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no other casualties, Norfolk Police said.
Tim Tilbrook, a borough councillor whose ward covers Wolferton, said the first he heard of it was about 10.45pm.
However he believes the village's strong sense of community means residents will rally round to help those affected in whatever way they can.
'My thoughts go out to the people who have been killed,' he said.
'Our thoughts and prayers go to the families. It's sad that two people have lost their lives. It's a tragedy.'
'I think people in the village will be shocked. This is the last thing in the world they would've expected to happen.
'It is a beautiful part of Norfolk and for something like this to happen is most unusual.
'It's a tremendous community here. If they can do anything to help, I'm sure they will do.'
Residents also took to Twitter to break news of the crash, with one person reporting lots of sirens in the village during the day.
One Wolferton resident, who did not want to be named, said: 'I knew about it in the morning but I didn't know what had happened, they wouldn't say.
'We went to someone who knows everything but he only knew it was a plane crash. I just thought: 'What are all these vehicles rushing past?''
The coastguard, fire service and ambulance service attended the scene.
The Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) is also investigating after visiting the site.
A statement on the AAIB website said: 'The AAIB has sent a team to investigate a light aircraft accident that occurred north of King's Lynn, Norfolk.'
A Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesman confirmed they sent three appliances to the scene, and assisted with making the site safe.
The village of Wolferton is located within the Sandringham Estate and lies seven miles north of King's Lynn.
Its historic railway station, which closed in the 1960s but has been renovated and is privately run, is one of its best known sites, along with its historic 13th century St Peter's Church.
