A hotel in Burham Market is hosting a special event this weekend to mark the anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar.
The Hoste hotel in Burnham Market will hold their annual Trafalgar Day dinner on Saturday, which will include a Remember Nelson exhibition featuring a range of items that tell the story of the famous Admiral's life and career.
Before the dinner local historian Jeffery Bonas will talk about Nelson's many letters and dispatches as well as his incredible life story.
The Battle of Trafalgar took place on October 21, 1805 and demonstrated Britain's naval superiority in the nineteenth century. It resulted in the defeat of Napoleon Bonaparte who had planned to invade Britain, and the death of Admiral Lord Nelson.
Tickets are £45 and the dress code is smart. Arrival drinks begin at 7pm and the dinner starts at 7.30pm.
