Suffolk brewer Adnams has teamed up with a Norwich tech company to launch a game inspired by its most popular beer.
Digital studio Immersive VR, based in Rose Lane, has created a free-to-download Adnams Ghost Ship game for mobile phones which sees players take the helm of their own ethereal vessel.
The aim of the game, which commemorates the beer's launch for Halloween 2010, is to clock up as many nautical miles, avoiding obstacles and enemies along the way.
As part of the promotion Adnams, a member of the EDP/EADT Top 100, will be offering prizes, including a weekend getaway in its hometown of Southwold with eligible purchases of Ghost Ship ale.
Players who accumulate the most miles with their Ghost Ship and finish in the top 20 places of the game's leaderboard will win a year's supply of Adnams Ghost Ship.
