A celebrated composer, organist and conductor will be coming to Norwich.
Malcolm Archer has been invited by the Norfolk Area Royal School of Church Music committee to lead a singing afternoon at St Peter Mancroft Church.
He has enjoyed a distinguished career in cathedral music, including time as assistant organist at Norwich Cathedral before posts at Bristol and Wells Cathedral and then the position of director of music at St. Paul's Cathedral in London.
During his time at St. Paul's Cathedral he directed the choir for several State services, including the Tsunami Memorial Service, the London Bombings Service and the 80th Birthday Service for HM The Queen,
'Come and sing with Malcolm Archer' will take place on Saturday November 4 at St Peter Mancroft Church from 2.30pm - 5.00pm. It is £5 per singer and music and refreshments will be provided.
