The inquest into the death of a man at a Besthorpe skip hire firm will be reviewed next year.
James Criddle, 29, of Watton, died on May 15 this year. He was working at Baldwin Skip Hire when he was involved in a fatal accident.
Senior coroner Jacqueline Lake said the coroner's office was awaiting further information from the Health and Safety Executive, and adjourned proceedings until January 11, 2018.
After his death, friends described Mr Criddle as a kind, loving man who cared for his girlfriend Holly Eagling and his young daughter Lexi.
Friend John Rudling, said: 'He was so loved by all he came across, he was always such a smiling young gentleman and would always go out of his way to help anyone.'
Another friend, Kevin Copplestone, added: 'You couldn't have asked for a better friend.'
