A group of 30 young people led a number of workshops for Norfolk County Council staff as part of National Takeover Day.

The volunteers took on the task of running the Early Help team's annual away day, by working in a group to plan and prepare for the day and leading discussions.

The Early Help team work with children, young people and their families, offering support at an early stage before a small need becomes a bigger one.

Some of the volunteers shared their stories in a 'human library' session and ran a yoga and mindfulness workshop.

Young carers, young people with disabilities and pupils who have been excluded from school also shared their experiences.

Cassie, 20, said: 'I think it's a massive opportunity and it was great to be able to represent young people who are experiencing the same thing as me.

'It gave us the chance to say exactly what we want.'
