Jade Green, 24, and Kayleigh Harrison, 29, died from injuries they received when the Vauxhall Astra they were travelling in was involved in a collision with a Ford Transit van at Murrow, near Wisbech, on Thursday, November 9.

A third person, a man in his 20s, remains in a critical but stable condition in Addenbrooke's Hospital.

A fourth person is believed to have been in the vehicle, but left the scene.

He is being treated as a witness and may have key information to assist with the investigation. He is described as white, in his 20s, with dark curly hair and a beard.

Det Insp Alan Page, from Cambridgeshire police, said: 'I'd appeal directly to the man who left the scene to contact us as a matter of urgency.

'I would like to stress that he is being treated as a witness and we believe he may have vital information to help us piece together a picture of what happened last week.

'This was a tragic incident where two woman lost their lives and a man remains in a critical condition. In addition to the man seen leaving the scene we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicles prior to the collision.'

Friends took to social media to pay tribute to Jade, who lived in Beechwood Road, in Wisbech. They said the town would not be the same without her.

Her family said: 'Jade was a much loved sister and daughter. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.'

Mum-of-three Kayleigh, who lived in The Lawns in Wisbech, was taken to Addenbrooke's where she later died.

Her family said: 'Kayleigh was unique, lived life to the full and had lots of friends.'

Black Drove was closed in both directions between Hooks Drove and Cant's Drove while police cleared the scene and investigated the crash, which happened around 7.30am. It was reopened at about 2.30pm.
