A delegation, which included professional instructors and coaches from the Sports University of Beijing, descended on the Norwich School to introduce Dragon and Lion Dancing, Roli-Ball and Health Oigon to Norfolk.
Norwich's Lord Mayor David Fullman joined students on Thursday (November 9) as they were put through their paces and taught these traditional Chinese activities.
The project was aimed at broadening the view of Chinese culture and transitional sports for people in Norfolk.
Sinead Merron, chair of the Norwich School events committee, said the children had a 'great time' at the event which also brought the whole community together and 'ended up being a fun afternoon for everyone'.
