A man has been to taken to hospital after collapsing in a Norwich park.
The East of England Ambulance Service were called at 10am today (Wednesday) to Eaton Park to a report that a man in his 60s had collapsed and was in cardiac arrest.
Two ambulance crews, an ambulance officer, and response car from East Anglian Air Ambulance were dispatched.
Before paramedics arrived at the scene an off-duty police officer and off-duty nurse had performed CPR and used a defibrillator. They managed to resuscitate the patient.
The man was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in a stable condition and was conscious and breathing.
Norfolk Constabulary were also called to assist with the incident.
