A jogger has described her shock at the moment a man exposed himself to her on a regular running route.

The woman had been jogging down Bunwell Road in Besthorpe, near Attleborough when a truck pulled over on the opposite side of the road.

A man got out of a truck and waited for the woman to get closer before exposing himself and acting indecently.

The woman, who asked to remain anonymous, said: 'It was the one time I was running without my phone. I had no idea what else could have happened. I've been running around the area for the past eight years I never thought this would happen.'

The incident happened on the morning of Halloween at around 10.15am.

'I just froze,' added the woman. 'I had no idea what was going to happen next. Would I have to fight this massive bloke or would I ended up in the back of the truck?'

'Now I'm too worried to go out,' she added, 'it just feels like I've been punched. One minute I'm okay but then I'm in tears.

'I have a 17-year-old daughter who goes out running with her friend. Now I'm scared to let her go out.'

Police are appealing for information following the incident.

Officers would like to talk to the driver of a blue Ford Focus who the woman tried to flag down after the incident.

The man is described as being tall with long brown hair and dark skin. He was wearing dark clothing a pink hi-vis vest.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101.
