A minor fire broke out at a house on Gas Hill in Norwich overnight but the occupants were all uninjured and accounted for.
Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service were called to the street shortly after 1.30am.
Crews from Carrow, Earlham and Sprowston used hose reel jets and main jets to extinguish the fire whilst wearing breathing apparatus. A thermal image camera was used to check for hot spots and a positive pressure ventilation fan to disperse smoke.
A spokesman for the fire service said the incident had ended by 2.13am and 'occupants of the house were safe and accounted for'.
