Would-be savvy savers are being urged to take part in a new initiative to combat food waste.
Up to 16 households from Fakenham will be chosen to take part in the four-week Zero Waste Kitchen Challenge, with the aim of saving up to £60 a month.
North Norfolk District Council (NNDC) has teamed up with Sainsbury's Waste Less Save More to put on the challenge, which has been organised by Recycle for Norfolk in partnership with Sainsbury's and Norfolk's Plan Eat Save.
Cabinet member for the Environment, Annie Claussen-Reynolds, said: 'We would love to hear from families who are keen to avoid wastage and make their food go further.'
Each household will also receive a £20 voucher as a thank you.
To take part, you need to sign up for the cookery workshop at Fakenham Community Centre on February 13. Visit Eventbrite for tickets.
