Schoolchildren and organisers have celebrated the end of a successful project to restore a 900-year-old church.
The Lottery funded project to restore St John the Evangelist in Ovington began in January 2017, and along the way children from seven local schools took part in activities to learn more about its heritage.
The project had the objective of creating a strong link between the church and the schools involved.
More than 700 children took part in various activities during the project including learning about the nature around the church and dressing up to take part in a Victorian baptism.
They put together a special performance to mark the end of the project at an event in Wayland Academy on Saturday, February 3.
John Hardy, community project organiser, said: 'The event was extremely successful. The performance was totally designed by the schoolchildren, depicting everything they have learned during the project.'
