A fundraising event held at a Norwich hospital raised £170 for the Stroke Association.
Staff working on the stroke rehabilitation unit at Norwich Community Hospital held a cake sale and other ways to raise money including guess the name of the teddy bear, how many sweets are in the jar and guess the time of the runners.
Connie Vallis, one of the organisers, said: 'The Stroke Association carries out vital research in stroke medicine for prevention and treatment. First off we signed up for the Stroke Association 10k resolution run at Catton Park, we then decided to hold a fundraising event on the ward.
'Working with patients and families who have been affected by stroke, as a team we wanted to do something to raise awareness as well as a bit of cash. We have had an amazing response and the support has been great. When we do the 10k run this month we will be running for all those patients that can't.'
