Three tree surgeons have volunteered to do £600 worth of work at a small cancer charity.
The Norse Group arborists were given paid leave to use their skills at Star Throwers charity in Wymondham.
Martin Pigg, Paul Kaufmann-Ward and Ed Savage felled two trees that were diseased and removed the deadwood from others that line the entrance to the cancer support charity.
Victoria Pigg, assistant manager said: 'We are very grateful for the work that has been completed and the generosity of NORSE, this work would have cost the charity over £600.
'It costs £350 per day to run our cancer support centre where we support approximately eight-10 people everyday that are affected by cancer.
'The money saved will help us support about 16 cancer patients and their carers with advice and holistic support.'
Star Throwers will be holding an Open Day on May 11 from 10am – 4pm.
