A King's Lynn couple organised a festival garden party to say thank you to the West Norfolk Breast Care Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Deanna and Nick Wright have donated £2,452 by transforming their garden into a festival site, complete with music tents and a wellie-wearing audience but minus the mud.
They were compelled to give something back following Mrs Wright's treatment at the unit, where she underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy after discovering a 4cm lump in February last year.
Mrs Wright said: 'I am one of the lucky ones as the chemotherapy reduced the lump in the first session and they had to use a tag to highlight where it was.
'We wanted to give something back as I have been lucky with my treatment. My goal was £1,000 so I'm really happy to more than double that.'
The couple presented the money to consultant breast surgeon Rachael Johnson and specialist nurse Gemma Harnwell, who treated Mrs Wright.
