Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision in Thetford on Wednesday, October 24.
Officers were called around 10.20am to reports of a collision on the A1075 between a silver Rover 45 and a pedestrian on Norwich Road near to Churchill Road.
The pedestrian, a man aged in his 50s, was taken to West Suffolk Hospital with serious head and back injuries.
The road was closed whilst emergency services attended, however reopened around 3pm.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the manner of either vehicle or pedestrian prior to the collision or has dash-cam footage of the incident.
