The research team at Hoveton and Wroxham Medical Practice in North Norfolk wish to thank all of their patients who over the last ten years have given up their time to take part in primary care research.
Due to the enthusiasm of people in the locality the research team led by Dr Carsten Dernedde, Sister Caroline Mansfield and Assistant Practice Manager Christopher Wright, the practice has been able to recruit well to many projects . The projects mainly originate from Universities from across the UK which help to inform clinical options in terms of medicines, treatments and ways of working. The practice has been strongly supported by the National Institute of Health Research and Clinical Research Network in the East of England. The award granted Highly Commended Status to the practice from The Royal College of General Practitioners and the National Institute for Health Research in recognition of amount of research undertaken at the practice by all practitioners.
