An 'eternal celebratory tree' has sprung up outside Cromer Hospital to mark its 150th anniversary and raise money for charity.
The copper structure - which is more than two metres tall - stands just to the side of the hospital's main entrance.
People can sponsor and dedicate either a maple leaf or an oak leaf for £200, which is then personalised with a message and hung on the tree. Louise Cook, fundraising manager at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals (NNUH) said: 'Cromer Hospital has provided care for the community for 150 years and we feel the Copper Tree is a wonderful way to mark this milestone year.
'Once a leaf has been purchased, it will be a part of the tree for at least three years. All money raised from the leaves will go to our Cromer Fund, part of the N and N Hospitals Charity.'
