More than 70 young actors are filling the stage at Sheringham Little Theatre for the fun musical Bugsy Malone.
The annual spring production by the venue's youth group has attracted record numbers of youngsters aged from eight to 18.
Set during the speakeasy jazz age in New York, the cast includes Ayerlia O'Leary-Leeson as Blousey, who is returning to the stage after breaking an arm and missing out on a Christmas pantomime role.
Director Bridget Robinson said: 'Our young people have a voice which should be heard and a creative energy which should be encouraged to flourish. 'The value of this cannot be measured in league tables and has become a lost priority within formal education.'
Bugsy Malone runs from Friday, April 6 to Saturday, April 14 (no performance on April 8) at 7.30pm with a 2.30pm matinee on Saturday.
