A group of Sheringham nursery school pupils had a chance to enjoy their very own professional music recital, when they were visited by two members of the acclaimed Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.
Musicians Cherry Forbes and Cecelia Bruggemeyer took along a variety of instruments to Ladybird Pre-school Nursery, Cromer Road, as part of a scheme run by North Norfolk District Council in partnership with Orchestras Live.
The project will see leading musicians run a series of eight free events in north Norfolk over the bank holiday weekend, culminating
with a 'musical adventure walk' at Holt Country Park on Sunday at 10am.
Ladybird administrator Helen Jewers said the musicians' visit was a 'wonderful' opportunity for youngsters.
'It was fantastic, you could see the children were all engaged,' she added. For more information, or to book tickets, visit www.north-norfolk.gov.uk/orchestras
