The North Walsham lodge of the Oddfellows friendly society has presented £500 to Sheringham RNLI.
The two groups have links going back to 1961, when the Oddfellows bought the station its Oakley class lifeboat.
The Oddfellows, which have since bought two more boats which have saved more than 150 lives in 300-plus launches, are currently campaigning to raise a further £214,000 for the next Sheringham boat, but also continue to support the station with smaller gifts to help towards everyday running costs.
North Walsham lodge development manager Angela Batson, said: 'The Oddfellows is a friendly society which looks to improve the lives of its members through social events and member benefits, but we are also about saving lives through our links with the local lifeboats, who do a tremendous job and rely on public support to keep our shores safe.'
