A north Norfolk MP visited patients at a North Walsham hospital to hear about vital physiotherapy treatments.
Liberal Democrat MP Norman Lamb visited North Walsham Hospital on Wednesday, October 3, where he heard from staff and patients about their experiences of rehabilitation.
Mr Lamb spoke to physiotherapist Nicola Smith and advanced nurse practitioner Andrew Karrouze, from the Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust, about the importance of patients' leaving hospital and being able to access high-quality rehabilitation services.
He also spoke to patients to hear how rehabilitation and physiotherapy has transformed their recovery.
During the visit, he was also shown a short film, made by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, called 'Rehab Matters', which contrasts the experiences of a patient who receives physiotherapy after leaving hospital with one who misses out.
