Open auditions are being held for Sheringham Little Theatre's production of Goodnight Mister Tom.
It charts the poignant tale of eight-year-old Londoner William Beech who is sent to live in the countryside during the Second World War.
The theatre is staging the show in September but auditions to find the cast of children and adults from the local area are on Sunday, June 30.
Theatre director Debbie Thompson said the lead adult role of Mister Tom had already been assigned to amateur actor Graham Blyth.
She said: "We are now looking for a 30-strong cast of all ages to join him - including children aged eight to 15. Roles include the key one of William, villagers, policemen, wardens, nurses, drivers and soldiers."
Auditions are at the theatre from 10am to 1pm, with call-backs from 2pm. The show runs from September 19-21 at 7.30pm and a 2.30pm matinee on Saturday.
