More backing has been given to a council's restoration project at an iconic building in north Norfolk.
The North Lodge Park building, which houses the Cromer Town Council offices, is being repointed after water damage during the Beast from the East.
As reported, Cromer Town Council has defended its restoration work after a resident branded it a "disaster".
And David Pritchard, the council's chairman of the works and general committee, which is responsible for the work, has added his support.
In a statement, he said: "I and other councillors have every confidence in the work conducted by Cliveden Conservation on the North Lodge building.
"It's an extremely specialist area of work which only a conservation company could do. As part of the process to award the tender it was apparent that only a few companies are even capable of carrying out this work.
"Cromer Town Council also took into consideration the work done by Cliveden Conservation on the Cromer War Memorial which everyone has been so happy with."
Mr Pritchard added: "Cliveden Conservation has completed work on castles and palaces all over the country and is more than capable of the work at North Lodge.
"However, I accept that the appearance can be alarming to those who are uninformed of the process involved but this isn't just a repair, this is conserving the building for the future and for Cromer."
