Stunning images from the North Norfolk Photographic Society show winter in all its glory.
The club has held its first printed picture competition of the 2019-2020 season, drawing almost 40 entries in novice and advanced categories.
The novice category winner was Lauren Griffiths, whose picture 'Chillin' showed a seal chilling out and looking totally relaxed. Second was Cheryl Howell's 'Window of Light' - a dazzling stained glass window, and third Lauren Griffiths again with 'Neko Harbour - Antarctica'. The advanced category winner was Paul Richards with 'Barn Owl - Snow Delays Hunting', showing a barn owl just about making its way through a snow storm. Second was Lizzie Wallis with 'Brown Hare after the Blizzard' and third was Nick Akers' 'Dirty Work' which was a portrait of a bearded man standing in front of a steam engine.
Andy Swain was the judge. Meetings are held on the fist and third Wednesdays of the month at the Holt Community Centre.
