Police investigating a former Norwich City youth coach who was arrested on suspicion of indecency with children and indecent assault have passed a file to the Crown Prosection Service.
Michael Sean Carson, 74, also known as Kit, was detained in Cambridge in January as part of an investigation into allegations of abuse in football.
He spent 10 years at Norwich City, including as youth coach and left the club in 1993 to join Peterborough United. He was later appointed Cambridge United's head of youth development in 2001.
During his time at Norwich in the 1980s and 1990s, Mr Carson brought through influential youngsters including Ruel Fox and Chris Sutton.
Cambridgeshire Police confirmed a man in his 70s had been rebailed until next year and a file had been submitted to the CPS.
