A Norwich pub has raised more than £2700 for two Norfolk based charities.
On May 7, hundreds of people attended The Cottage, in Thorpe St Andrew for its May bank holiday charity fete. Enjoying excellent bank holiday sunshine the all day event featured a fun dog show, craft stalls, BBQ, bouncy castle and surf simulator.
The £2730 raised from the day will be split equally between the between domestic abuse charity Leeway and Sea Palling Independent Lifeboats.
Ian Perry and Lorraine Garlick, owners of The Cottage said: 'Each year we choose two charities which are based locally and who's work benefits those who live and work in Norfolk. Choosing beneficiaries for our annual fundraiser is never easy but we believe these two local charities which have vital support from volunteers stood out as worthy recipients.
'We hope to work with both again during the remainder of this year's activities.'
