Our chief Norwich City correspondent Paddy Davitt is on tour in Germany with the Canaries and has updated us on the progress of Daniel Farke’s squad in pre-season.
Accompanied by our regular City photographer, Paul Chesterton of Focus Images, Paddy brings you the latest from the Canaries camp following the 2-0 win over MSV Duisburg on Wednesday night.
Paddy has been speaking to Farke regularly throughout the work and also interviewed striker Nelson Oliveira following the victory at the Willi-Hafer Stadion in Hilbeck, a village to the east of Dortmund, in north-west Germany.
Tomorrow Paddy and Paul travel around 80kms north-east to the Schuco-Arena, the home of another German second tier side, Arminia Bielefeld.
First up will be another friendly for City’s under-23s – who beat SC Rot-Weiß Oberhausen 2-1 yesterday – against another German fourth tier team, Eintracht Braunschweig U23, at the Canaries’ Hotel Klosterpforte base in a midday kick-off.
Then at 6pm the first team take on Bielefeld at their Schuco-Arena home, which has a capacity of over 26,000.
