Rob Taylor will attempt to get Acle off the bottom of the Premier Division when Beccles Town visit Bridewell Lane.
Taylor’s first match in charge was a 5-1 defeat away to the same opponents in the Mummery Cup.
This time it’s Premier Division action and after beating Long Stratton 2-1 in their last game, Acle will be keen for a revenge win – and, more importantly, three vital points.
With only four top-flight fixtures scheduled because of Norfolk Senior Cup commitments, Acle could jump up to mid-table.
At the top end of the table, there’s a big early-season clash at Bradenham where third-placed Wanderers and take on unbeaten leaders Harleston Town. A home win would take them joint top with Harleston, but it would take a big swing in goal difference to displace Adam Gusterson’s side. Sixth-placed Mulbarton Wanderers etertain the side immediately below them, Waveney, while Reepham are at home to Wroxham Reserves.
