It was a day of running and cycling, eating and drinking, meeting friends and playing games.

After a wet start to Easter Sunday, more than 1,000 people flooded into Fakenham’s centre for the town’s Easter Sunday Funday run by Active Fakenham.
The event, held for the third time this year, is aimed at getting people out and about and enjoying healthy activities, including 1km and 5km runs and official British Cycling town centre races.
There were also tricycle races for tots.
Organiser Richard Crook said there were more than 200 entrants in each of the foot races. He said participants in different activities ranged from just eight months to over 80 years old.

Mr Crook said: “We’ve had a great crowd out and we’ve had good entries at all levels. People have come from all over the place to be here - we’ve got people from London, Surrey and a lot of local people. There’s been a really good mix of all sorts.”
