The Canaries went into the match knowing a point would be enough to lift the trophy, regardless of how rivals Sheffield United got on at Stoke.

Teemu Pukki fired the visitors into an early lead which was cancelled out by Jonathan Kodjia but Mario Vrancic finished a superb team move with a fine finish from the edge of the penalty area to seal a 2-1 win in the 84th minute.

With the Blades drawing 2-2 at Stoke the celebrations were on the verge of kicking off even before the Vrancic strike, short of a late twist at both stadiums, but Farke’s team made sure to finish five points clear at the summit – and 11 clear of third place Leeds.
