City will be pitting their wits against one of the best sides outside the ‘big six’ as, Mark Armstrong looks at five previous clashes against Leicester City

This was a cruel one on the Canaries.
A defensive rearguard effort looked like being successful for 89 minutes against eventual champions, Leicester.
That was until Leonardo Ulloa was left free at the back post to poke Marc Albrighton's cross home.
It was tough on Norwich, who could have snatched victory had either Cameron Jerome or Nathan Redmond converted presentable opportunities.
But Leicester's winning momentum, which took them to the most unlikely title success, won out and the points went to Claudio Ranieri's men.
"I don't think we deserved that," said manager Alex Neil. "We have a game on Tuesday and we'll get it out of our system before then."
They didn't, they lost 2-1 to Chelsea... and went on to be relegated following a 4-2 win over Watford.

This proved beyond doubt that Norwich City and the FA Cup isn't a match made in heaven.
Presented with an opportunity to reach the quarter finals for the first time since 1992, the Canaries barely got out of first gear, leaving Championship Leicester to bag a place in the last eight.
City boss Paul Lambert rested key players like Grant Holt, John Ruddy and Kyle Naughton and the fringe players didn't have enough to get past Nigel Pearson's side.
Sean St Ledger opened the scoring with a header before Wes Hoolahan equalised, following up on his own missed penalty after Elliott Bennett was adjudged to have been brought down by Kasper Schmeichel.
The winner came 20 minutes from time when David Nugent latched on to Jermaine Beckford's knockdown to jink through the City defence and fire home.

Wes Hoolahan had a bit of making up to do in this fixture and boy did he deliver.
Just three days after his fluffed penalty cost City all three points at home to Preston, the Irishman orchestrated the kind of away performance that became the hallmark of this City vintage.
Hoolahan opened the scoring with a fine header but Richie Wellens pegged City back. Hoolahan wasn't done though as he won a penalty, which he left to Grant Holt to convert and the points were wrapped up thanks to Aaron Wilbraham's first Norwich goal. Paul Gallagher pulled one back later on but it was too little too late as City claimed their eighth away victory of the campaign.

This one was all about Nigel Worthington.
Sacked just six months earlier by Norwich, the Northern Irishman was given a managerial lifeline when chosen by Milan Mandaric to try and pull Leicester away from the relegation zone as an interim manager for the rest of the season.
And what would be his first game in charge of the Foxes? The Canaries, of course.
Leicester had a dream start when another Norwich old boy Darren Kenton put them 1-0 up after 40 seconds but it all unravelled in the second half.
Substitute Robert Earnshaw scored from the spot after Patrick Kisnorbo had handled and Norwich wrapped up victory thanks to a Gareth McAuley own goal.
Worthington did managed to save Leicester from the drop, but he was overlooked for the manager's job permanently in the summer in favour of Martin Allen.

Norwich City were still coming to terms with the loss of Chris Sutton at the time with manager John Deehan turning to Jon Newsome as a makeshift striker.
Newsome certainly didn't let his boss down with the equaliser early in the second half after the visitors had taken the lead through Mark Draper's near post finish. City were finding it hard to fill the void left by Sutton's £5m departure to Blackburn Rovers from the previous summer and it was left to another defender in Daryl Sutch to clinch victory with a deflected finish in the 90th minute.
LEICESTER
Manager
Brendan Rodgers
The Northern Irishman's star had waned at Liverpool just a season after taking the Reds so close to the Holy Grail of the Premier League title.
However, after three rehabilitative years at Celtic when the Glasgow giants unsurprisingly swept all before them, Leicester City came calling and the chance to manage in the Premier League again was an opportunity he couldn't turn down.
He looks a perfect fit for the Foxes, who have a talented squad that includes a certain James Maddison... for the moment at least unless one of the big guns comes calling this summer.
Rodgers appears to have settled well although he has enjoyed a gentle run of fixtures since being installed manager in February. The big challenge for Rodgers will be if he can break into the top six next season.
Last season
The Foxes were a club in mourning when their owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was tragically killed in a helicopter crash following a match against West Ham. The club understandably took some time to come to terms with the loss of their beloved leader.
Things on the pitch improved upon the dismissal of the unpopular Claude Puel and Rodgers' arrival seems to have provided some much needed optimism around the Midlands club.
New season
The big question for Leicester is whether they can hold on to their star men this summer with the vultures circling.
Maddison is not the only player to be linked with a big-money move away with Ben Chilwell and Harry Maguire also reportedly interesting Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.
The Foxes will be fighting tooth and nail to keep hold of that trio whilst they also want to turn Youri Tielemans' loan into a permanent deal after he impressed on loan from Monaco in the second half of last season.
However, they haven't got the field all to themselves it seems with Manchester United and Tottenham keen on the 22-year-old.
