A running group that helps people in Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft take up the activity has organised an event to promote mental wellbeing.
Norsuf Running Group, which encourages people to take up running or jogging to improve their mental and physical mental health, has set up a free running event at the bandstand at Gorleston Pier Gardens on Tuesday, October 10 from 6.45pm.
The course covers one and half miles and people taking part can chose to walk, run or jog along the route.
It is part of a week long England Athletics initiative called #runandtalk to improve people’s mental wellbeing and break down any stigmas that may be attached to mental health problems.
The Gorleston run will be held on World Mental Health Day and is being supported by the charity Mind.
To register to take part in the run call Trevor Rawson on 07815 910021 or email tc4hessex@gmail.com
