Martham Academy has taken part in the Shoebox appeal for the charity Samaritan’s Purse. Teachers Zoe Alden and Clare Higgins thought it would be a lovely idea for the children to get involved with the appeal.
The two teachers said they were overwhelmed with the amount of shoeboxes the school received, 96.
The children said they really enjoyed making the shoeboxes filling them with toys, toiletries and sweets for children across the world who are less fortunate than them.
