Pantomime fun came to Stokesby at the weekend when a 19-strong cast entirely from the village staged Jack and the Beanstalk in the village hall.

Audiences travelled from as far as Downham Market to participate in the three performances with their lavish costumes and slapstick humour from Friday to Sunday.

Directed by Stokesby’s Murder Mystery Queen Ann Dixon, and written by Steve Burton, the pantomime played to full houses and raised money for the refurbishment of Stokesby village hall.
