One of the founders of Specsavers will be at the official launch of the company’s Gorleston store on Friday, March 23.
Dame Mary Perkins, who founded the company with Doug Perkins, will be joined by borough mayor Kerry Robinson-Payne at the ribbon cutting ceremony at 11am at the Lowestoft Road store.
They will have a chance to enjoy some cake with customers and the store’s team too
Roxanne England, manager, said: “We are delighted to be open in Gorleston. We have had a great reaction from customers so far to our shiny new store, and our staff are loving it too.
“We would love to see as many people as possible pop down for our launch – and can promise cake for everyone.”
Specsavers is a partnership of nearly 2,000 locally-run businesses, said to be committed to delivering high quality, affordable optical and hearing care in the communities they serve.
