A man was arrested in Sainsbury’s after trying to steal more than £200 worth of items.
Mildenhall police said the 53-year-old attempted a trolley dash with items worth £205 on Friday.
However, his dash was not quick enough and was unable to escape the supermarket’s security, an officer and local policing Insp Mark Shipton.
Sainsbury’s official Twitter responded saying: “Three cheers to you!”
In Diss a man was charged with the theft of £230 worth of alcohol from Morrisons on Friday.
