The new owner of a nightclub has promised safe nights out and special events as he takes over the venue with his family by his side.
Steve Bull, 55, has taken over ICE Nightclub, in Thetford, having worked in various roles at the club for the past 13 years.
When the venue was put up for sale he felt it was important to keep the club in the town.
Mr Bull said: "The clubbing scene has changed over the years, the same as youngsters have, but we try to cater for all. I want to make people feel secure and that they have a good night.
"It had been run by people living out of the town and I feel that if we lost the club we would be losing so much, I want the youngsters to feel like they have somewhere to go and feel safe.
"The club is moving on all the time and it's not getting stale, there are a lot of vibes around the town that we are picking up on and introducing to the club."
ICE Nightclub has become a family affair for Mr Bull, who lives in Thetford, as his daughter, Zoe Bull, is the bar manager and her partner, Karl Crowe, works in management and on the doors.
"They have grown up after the last 10 years and have gone from putting bottles in the fridge to taking it forward with me," the father-of-four added, "and now my two youngsters are doing what my eldest were 10 years ago, it's nice to see."
Former owner Dave Chaplin, 68, from Ipswich, is proud to be handing over the reins to Mr Bull as he retires due to health.
He said: "Because I live in Ipswich I was not able to get the local feel.
"He has been with the club for 13 years and has helped to build it to what it is. I'm certain it will go from strength-to-strength."
Mr Bull hopes to appeal to everyone in the town with events including a Halloween night, themed nights and band/DJ nights.
The club has also been opened for filming, and Norfolk punk-pop band Pink Lemonade filmed its latest music video there.
