A woman died after ingesting too much of a prescription drug, an inquest has heard.
Terri Garner, of Dreibholz Court in Dereham, died at home on November 9 last year, aged 50.
At an inquest into her death held over video link by Norfolk Coroner’s Court on Tuesday, area coroner Yvonne Blake said Mrs Garner had been found by her partner. Paramedics were called and an unsuccessful attempt was made to resuscitate her.
During the inquest, Ms Blake read through Mrs Garner’s medical history, which showed she had a long history of anxiety and repeated admissions to hospital for alcohol toxicity. She also suffered from pancreatitis, and possible breast cancer, the inquest heard.
Recording a narrative conclusion, Ms Blake said: “She had a low mood, but that’s not surprising considering she had pancreatitis which is very painful. She also had low blood pressure and had just found a lump so there’s a lot going on there.”
She said there was no evidence “as to her intent”.
