A road has reopened and power has been restored to homes in the Lowestoft area..
It comes after an electric cable fell down and blocked part of a road on Sunday afternoon.
Lowestoft Police were called to The Street, at the junction with Rectory Road in Carlton Colville, yesterday.
They found an electric cable had fallen down in the road and was blocking The Street at the junction with Rectory Road.
Police were there for a short amount of time with one lane closed as they advised drivers around the area to avoid the road if at all possible and seek alternative routes.
They had left the scene after engineers from UK Power Networks attended to clear the cables away from the road and restore the power.
According to the UK Power Network website there were three households in the Carlton Colville area that were left without power, with 10 customers calling in with issues.
The road was reopened on Sunday teatime, with power restored in the evening.
