A man appeared in court today where he admitted a string of sex attacks in King's Lynn.

Mark Hepworth, 34, of Whitefriars Terrace, King's Lynn, was arrested yesterday and charged with three offences of sexual touching of a female, dating back to February.

He was arrested after an off-duty police officer was assaulted in the town's London Road yesterday morning.

Hepworth appeared before King's Lynn Magistrates' Court where he pleaded guilty to the three offences.

Prosecutor Kevin Eastwick told the court that during police interview Hepworth told officers he could have committed up to 15 more similar offences since January.

The second and third charges relate to an assault on a woman in The Walks on June 9 and a similar offence in Hardwick Road on February 1.

Hepworth was released on bail and is due to appear before magistrates again at a later date.
