A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Jim Cushing in Bowthorpe on Wednesday evening.David Anthony Stubbs, 52, of Harris Mews, Bowthorpe, was charged late last night over the double stabbing which took place on the Clover Hill estate.
A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Jim Cushing in Bowthorpe on Wednesday evening.
David Anthony Stubbs, 52, of Harris Mews, Bowthorpe, was charged late last night over the double stabbing which took place on the Clover Hill estate.
He appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court this morning. He is also charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent to 36-year-old Ian Burgess on the same date.
Dressed in a blue tracksuit top, Stubbs, who is a short man with grey hair, appeared to be in good spirits, and just confirmed his name, age and address.
He was remanded in custody and committed to Norwich Crown Court at 9.30am on Friday, June 29.
