School across Norfolk will be closed today due to the flood. They are:

Alderman Swindell First School (Closed due to flood alert)

Breydon VC CE Middle School

Brooklands Centre, Pupil Referral Unit (Closed, along with Southtown Road Centre)

Caister First and Nursery School (Floods)

Caister High School (Being used a rest centre)

Cliff Park First and Nursery School (Floods)

Cliff Park Community Middle (Staff cannot get to the school)

Cliff Park High School (Being used as a rest centre)

Cobholm Primary School (Closed due to flood alert)

East Norfolk Sixth Form College

Edward Worlledge Community Middle School (Closed due to severe flood warning)

Flegg High School (Closed due to staffing access)

Fleggburgh CE VC Primary School

Glebeland Community Primary School

Great Yarmouth VA High School (Closed due to flood alert)

Greenacre First, Middle & Nursery School (Closed)

Herman First School

Hillside First School, Bradwell, (Flooding problems)

Homefield CE VC First and Nursery School (Floods)

Hopton CE VS Primary School (Roads are closed into the village)

Northgate St. Andrews Community First School (Closed due to severe flood warning)

Oriel High School (Being used as a rest centre)

St George's First & Nursery School (Closed due to flood alert)

St Mary's RC VA Primary and Nursery School (School bus not operating and staff unable to get to school)

St Nicholas CE VC Priory Middle School (Closed)

Stradbroke Community Primary (Flood)

West Flegg Middle Foundation School - now known as Martham Primary - (Being used as a rest centre)

Woodlands Middle School (Closed due to staff being unable to get to the school)

Wroughton First School (Staff unable to get to the school)

Wroughton Middle School (Being used as a rest centre)

Some school buses have also been cancelled.

Buses 6,7,8,9,and 10 into Loddon Schools will not operate today.

A number of NCS yellow school buses will not run later this morning because their drivers are required to be on standby to assist in the evacuation of residents in Great Yarmouth.

The routes affected are:

• The NCS Framingham Earl and Hethersett route

• The service known as Broadland Bus 9 which runs to Broadland High

• Thorpe St Andrew Bus 5 which also serves Little Plumstead Primary

• Thorpe St Andrew Bus 8

• Hellesdon Bus 1

• Reepham Bus 1

• Taverham Bus 1 which also visits Horsford junior

• Sprowston Bus 3

All the schools mentioned above will be open as usual and parents are asked to make alternative arrangements if they can
