Troy Tkaczek is charged with murdering Sam Armstrong on January 13, 2007 - the date Mr Armstrong died, 17 months after he was stabbed in the attack in North Walsham Market Place.

Until a legal change in 1996, a murder charge could only be brought if an attack and subsequent death were separated by no more than a year and a day.
